NO EDGE for the next three weeks

Alright guys... Matt needs a little vacation. So you're getting a "Get Out Of EDGE Free Card" for the next three weeks. Our next EDGE night will be a "Welcome back" night next year, Wednesday, January 16th: same time, same place. I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas. Remember what we talked about last Wednesday: that even though we have gotten a lot of our Christmas traditions from other religions and Christianized them, and there are skeptic views about Christmas all over the world, the real "reason for the season" is our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. No matter what presents get or don't get, or what food you eat or don't eat, take time to celebrate Christ's life. Either through prayer, volunteering, reading the Bible, or being nice to your family for once: just take the time to thank God and live for Him. Have a wonderful Christmas and an incredible New Year. Putting Christ in X-mas

Alright guys it's our last EDGE night of the year, Putting Christ in X-mas. We'll be meeting in the hall from 6:30-8 (like always) tomorrow, Wednesday, December 19th. We're going to be playing a fun game with wrapping paper, learning some cool stuff about Christmas traditions, and making some Christmas cards for whoever you'd like. I hope to see all of you there. There will be no EDGE this Wednesday, December 12th. I hope you all had fun making your posters this week and I look forward to seeing you all on December 19th. Remember that there is always a reason for joy. Whether it is your friends, family or having fun that brings you joy, never forget that the ultimate joy is in our Savior, the Lord, Jesus Christ. Down In The Dumps

What's up everybody? Next week, December 5th, we're going to be talking about Depression and Suicide. We'll be talking about symptoms of depression, treatments, and a lot of other aspects of living with this disease can lead to the horrible conclusion of suicide. there will be no EDGE tonight, November 21st, to start off your four day Thanksgiving weekend. I hope you all stuff your faces with WAY too much food and have a wonderful holiday weekend with your friends and family. Do not forget everything all of us have to be thankful for, especially all of us whose homes survived the wildfires last month. Give thanks to God for giving you all the blessings you have in your life, and have a wonderful week. NO EDGE next week

We will not be having EDGE this Wednesday, November 7th, because the hall is currently being used as a temporary shelter for the families who lost their homes in the fires. We will resume EDGE on November 14th in the hall from 6:30-8:00 and I will have new schedules for all of you and some cool announcements about a T-shirt design contest. I hope all of you are enjoying being back home and are safe with your families. If any of you lost your homes or know anyone who did please call the church if you have not already and we will help you as best we can. Have fun, be safe, and God Bless.

EDGE this week is CANCELLED due to fires

We will be continuing EDGE on November 7th; because of school cancellations and the fires we will not be meeting this week, October 24th, for EDGE. Next week there is NO EDGE because it is Halloween, I hope you can all have a fun holiday and get LOADS of candy. We will continue with our night on Baptism, entitled "Baby Dunking" on November 7th and I will have a revised schedule for you guys for the rest of the year. I will be emailing and calling all of you to let you know and to make sure you all got the message. Meanwhile, I hope you all are safe and I ask hat you please offer your prayers for those who have lost their homes on the mountain, and everywhere else in Southern California. BABY DUNKING!!!!!!

This Wednesday, October 24th, we're going to be talking about the Sacrament of Baptism. We're going to be doing reader's theater, which means that four of you guys get to be up in front of everyone performing a skit about a key event in the book of Genesis. We're also going to be watching your videos from last week! Keep looking at the website and offering your comments and suggestions! I'm thinking of having a T-shirt design contest and the winner will have their shirt design made into the new EDGE T-shirts and they'll be rewarded to people who have come to a lot of the EDGE nights, or just EVERYBODY!!!
